The Quiet Signs of God

I found Jesus in the morning light,
God’s whisper is soft, yet burning bright.
Not in thunder, not in flame,
But in the stillness, He spoke my name.
I saw Christ in the sparrow’s flight,
In kindness offered, small yet right.
In weary hands that reached to give,
He showed me how He calls us to live.
Jesus redeems the hours we think are lost,
God heals the wounds; we count the cost.
He guides the steps we fear to take,
He mends the hearts that the world may break.
So open wide your watchful eyes,
For Jesus speaks through earth’s disguise.
A gentle nudge, a holy rhyme,
A moment’s pause—an urgent sign.
Don’t wait for fire across the skies,
God’s love is here, where life abides.
In common days, His wonders shine—
Each breath, each gift, a sacred sign.
